Asset report

An asset report answers one question before any claim is filed: what does the public record show the other side owns, and where. It maps registered ownership, corporate links, and filings that exist right now. It does not tell you whether a claim will succeed, and it does not replace advice on a specific refusal scenario.

Sources and their limits

The report draws on public company registers, land and corporate ownership filings, insolvency notices, and court records open to inspection. Where a jurisdiction publishes beneficial ownership data, that data is checked and cited. Where it does not, the report says so rather than filling the gap with assumption.

None of these sources show bank balances, private trust deeds, or informal nominee arrangements. A related report on layered ownership structures covers what happens when the visible owner is a shell. See the note on tracing money after a suspended redemption. What a registry shows still needs matching against enforcement requirements in the asset's own jurisdiction.

Tiers, turnaround and price

The 6D asset report is sold in fixed tiers, listed with turnaround times and price on the reports index. A paid initial assessment scopes which tier fits the counterparty and the jurisdiction before you commit to a report.

Legal fees for anything that follows, a demand letter, a claim, an enforcement step, are not published. They depend on jurisdiction, route, and the size of the dispute, and are quoted after the report is read. For what a first written demand typically needs to state, see drafting a first demand letter.

Where the report stops and advice begins

The report states what a registry showed on the day it was checked. It does not say which court to file in, or how a specific refusal should be pleaded. The clause behind a suspended redemption often turns a plain ownership question into a contested one, and reading it that way is advice, not a report.

The firm does not work on a result-only fee, and its registration can be checked against the public record listed on the how to verify a law firm page.
